How is a Business Coaching Series structured?

Our sessions will be solutions focussed to create energy and vision, and include an appropriate degree of stretch to bring out the best in you and your business. Our meetings will have a clear structure to achieve the objectives of that session, whilst meeting your specific and current needs through self directed learning.

 

There will be consistent positive feedback to encourage and support your development and confidence, and accountability to hardwire new thinking and behaviours.

 

A series would usually consist of 6 to 8 sessions of 1.5 hours, with the first two meetings a week apart. Sessions will often become fortnightly or monthly, although this will depend on the goals being considered, and as the series continues the interval will usually lengthen. Building the coaching relationship is key to success, so the intial sessions will usually be face-to-face at the client's workplace, although future sessions can be conducted on Zoom or telephone.

 

Each Business Coaching series will be structured to meet the specific
needs
of the your business, and will include certain stages:

  • Contracting – the Foundations of Meeting Expectations. Coach and Business Leader agree objectives, length of sessions and series, approach to maximise success and confirm total confidentiality.
  • Create Goals that Inspire Achievement. Following completion of a Preparation Questionnaire, I work with you to create inspiring goals in up to 3 distinct areas, generally 2 business goals with a personal goal
    as the third focus. Through active listening and intuitive questions,
    I ensure that you feel motivated and energised to achieve these goals
  • Devise Strategies - the Plan for Achievement. I then spend time with you to map out what needs to be in place to reach the goal, providing a sense of direction and purpose and allowing progress to be monitored throughout
  • Actions – Making it Happen. During each session, you will design actions that are right for the way you work, and agree to act upon them between sessions, vital to achieving progress towards the agreed goals. Conversations in each session focus on learning gained from delivering on those commitments and the insights generated here are what sustains the new thinking needed to achieve positive change
  • Monitoring Progress and Completion. We will be continually checking back to your goals to ensure you are making progress, adjusting intended outcomes as more knowledge is gained. During the final coaching session we will identify the business and/or financial impact the coaching has achieved, as well as celebrating your acheivement of your goals and insights you have gained.
